SCRIBO LA DOTTA Liber

LA DOTTA is the collection through which SCRIBO understands writing as a cultural and intellectual act. Each fountain pen in this series represents attitude, history, and the conscious decision to give form to thoughts.

LA DOTTA Liber is inspired by the Liber Paradisus , the legal code with which Bologna took an extraordinary step in 1256, enshrining freedom as the original state of humankind. Writing here became the foundation of social change, a conscious act, and a vehicle for responsibility.

Crafted from matte ebonite, the LA DOTTA Liber is a deep red with yellow accents. The color scheme evokes a connection to the earth, energy, and the power of civic engagement. Gold-colored embellishments further emphasize the model's character. The edition is limited to 90 pieces.

The barrel, cap, grip section, and twist knob are entirely handcrafted. The characteristic round shape of the LA DOTTA collection sits comfortably in the hand. Length 148 mm, maximum diameter 16.75 mm, weight 30 g. A 6.5 mm diameter ebonite feed with two capillaries ensures a consistent ink flow. The piston-filling system offers a capacity of 1.42 ml.

At the heart of it is the exclusive SCRIBO gold nib, available as an 18-karat nib in the line widths Extra Extra Fine, Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, BB, BBB and Stub or as a 14-karat flex nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.

Each LA DOTTA Liber comes in a package made of natural leather and cotton. It represents writing as a conscious act and freedom as lived responsibility.
