SCRIBO LA DOTTA Ninfea

With LA DOTTA Ninfea, SCRIBO honors the work of the Bolognese naturalist Ulisse Aldrovandi, who in the 16th century was one of the pioneers of modern science and founded the Botanical Garden of Bologna in 1568. His observations and drawings laid the foundation for what we know today as the scientific representation of nature.

The color of the LA DOTTA Ninfea – a gray-blue with delicate lilac undertones – is reminiscent of water lilies, their roots deep in the soil while their blossoms float on the surface. This combination of depth and lightness is reflected in the harmonious design of the writing instrument. The clip and decorative elements are platinum-plated, subtly accentuating the shimmering resin.

The cap, barrel, grip section, and knob are handcrafted from resin. Length 148 mm, maximum diameter 16.75 mm. The 6.5 mm diameter ebonite feed with two capillaries ensures a consistent flow. The piston filling system has a capacity of 1.42 ml.

The centerpiece is the exclusive SCRIBO gold nib, available in 18 karat gold in line widths from Extra Extra Fine to Stub or as a 14-karat flexible nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
