With LA DOTTA Labante, SCRIBO pays homage to the Labante Caves – one of the most impressive natural monuments in Northern Italy, located in the hills between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. Over millennia, spring water has carved out an underground system of travertine, captivating visitors with its shimmering forms, waterfalls, and tranquil pools.

The resin of the LA DOTTA Labante displays a luminous pearly turquoise, inspired by the watercolors of caves and the light reflections of stalactite formations. The ruthenium-finished metal accents underscore the cool elegance and depth of this color composition.

The cap, barrel, grip section, and knob are handcrafted from resin. Length 148 mm, maximum diameter 16.75 mm. The 6.5 mm diameter ebonite feed with two capillaries ensures a consistent flow. The piston-filling system holds 1.42 ml of ink.

The centerpiece is the exclusive SCRIBO gold nib, available in 18 karat gold in line widths from Extra Extra Fine to Stub or as a 14-karat flexible nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.

Each piece comes in an elegant leather and cotton box. The edition is limited to 119 pieces. LA DOTTA Labante combines nature, craftsmanship, and light in a writing instrument reminiscent of the quiet magic of stalactite caves.
