SCRIBO LA DOTTA Drapperie

With LA DOTTA Drapperie, SCRIBO continues its homage to Bologna's historic artisan streets. The Via Drapperie, known as the street of cloth merchants since the 12th century, was for centuries a center of trade in fine fabrics, dyes, and patterns. To this day, it stands for creativity, craftsmanship, and the city's vibrant heritage.

The resin, in a deep, pearly dark red, evokes the image of fine fabrics, woven silk, and intensely colored cloths once offered in the workshops of the drapery trade. The shimmering surface lends the writing instrument depth and character, while ruthenium-coated metal accents provide a modern contrast.

The cap, barrel, grip section, and knob are handcrafted from resin. Length 148 mm, maximum diameter 16.75 mm. The ebonite feed with a 6.5 mm diameter and two capillaries ensures a consistent ink flow. The piston-filling system holds 1.42 ml of ink.

The exclusive SCRIBO gold nib is available in 18 karat gold in line widths from Extra Fine to Stub, or as a 14-karat flexible nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
