LA DOTTA Travertino incorporates the colors and textures of the eponymous stone, which has been used in Bologna since Roman times – for example, in the city's famous towers and the facade of the Basilica of San Petronio. The model is inspired by the rock strata and earthy tones of the landscape surrounding the Labante Caves.

The multicolored resin displays a natural, mineral-inspired grain, complemented by "Corten" PVD-finished metal parts – a first in the LA DOTTA collection. The interplay of warm earth tones and metallic patina gives the fountain pen a distinctive, grounded appeal.

The cap, barrel, grip section, and knob are handcrafted from resin. Length 148 mm, maximum diameter 16.75 mm. The 6.5 mm diameter ebonite feed with two capillaries ensures a consistent ink flow. The piston-filling system holds 1.42 ml.

The exclusive SCRIBO gold nib is available in 18 karat gold in line widths from Extra Fine to Stub, or as a 14-karat flexible nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
