With LA DOTTA Glicine, SCRIBO celebrates spring in Bologna – a time of year when the city is bathed in vibrant lilac and soft green beneath blooming wisteria. This climbing plant, originally from China and Japan, found its way to Europe in the 18th century and quickly became a symbol of beauty, grace, and friendship.

The resin of the LA DOTTA Glicine displays a vibrant interplay of lilac and green tones, inspired by the blossoms and leaves of the wisteria. The subtly marbled surface allows the colors to blend seamlessly, reflecting the plant's natural character. The platinum-plated clip and decorative elements further emphasize the model's bright, fresh appeal.

The cap, barrel, grip section, and knob are handcrafted from resin. Length 148 mm, maximum diameter 17 mm. The ebonite feed with a 6.5 mm diameter and two capillaries ensures a consistent flow; the piston filling system holds 1.42 ml of ink.

The centerpiece is the exclusive SCRIBO gold nib, available in 18 karat gold in line widths from Extra Extra Fine to Stub or as a 14-karat flexible nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
