With LA DOTTA Valverde, SCRIBO celebrates the history of Bologna and one of its most extraordinary structures: the Valverde Cistern. This 16th-century engineering masterpiece supplied the city with water, thus combining function, progress, and the power of communal development.
The shimmering green-orange color scheme evokes the natural depth of water and the warm light of the Tuscan sun. The diamond-cast resin creates delicate reflections reminiscent of the interplay of water and stone. The clip and decorative elements are finished in yellow gold, lending the writing instrument a touch of classic elegance.
The cap, barrel, grip section, and knob are handcrafted from resin. Length 148 mm, maximum diameter 16.75 mm. The 6.5 mm diameter ebonite feed with two capillaries ensures a consistent ink flow. The piston-filling system holds 1.42 ml.
Inside, the exclusive SCRIBO gold nib is at work, optionally in 18 karat gold in line widths from Extra Extra Fine to Stub, or as a 14-karat flexible nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
