The Lumos Brass Mini is crafted from solid brass and designed for a durable, fully refillable writing system. The brass body gives the pen a substantial weight and develops a natural patina over time.

Features of the Lumos Brass
The pen body is made of solid brass and meticulously handcrafted. The modular system is compatible with eleven interchangeable nibs for fineliner, brush, and writing. The Brass is robust, compact, and ideal for everyday use on the go.

Refill system and ink selection
The Lumos Brass is designed for dye-based fountain pen inks. It works reliably with all particle- and binder-free inks. Pigment inks such as Sailor Kiwa-guro and Platinum Carbon can also be used. Inks with shimmer particles, as well as shellac or acrylic inks, are not suitable. Refilling is done by simply immersing the reservoir in the ink. Color changes are possible by flushing or by replacing the nib and reservoir.

Use and care
Depending on the type, the tips can be inserted from the top or inside. A silicone grip facilitates changing the tips without direct contact with the ink. Warm soapy water is sufficient for cleaning the parts. With the same ink, the reservoirs can be used almost indefinitely. With frequent color changes, four to five cleanings are realistic.

Suitability for travel and everyday use
Since the pen itself contains no liquid, the Lumos Brass is suitable for air travel. Its brass casing makes it durable and robust. The added weight ensures smooth writing and a distinctive feel. It is suitable for left-handed users as well as for fast-paced work on the go.
