Lumos Splash – Blue Raspberry

The Lumos Splash brings color and energy to your desk. The special edition Blue Raspberry combines a vibrant blue with contrasting splashes of color, evoking the style of the late eighties and early nineties. The result is a creative, eye-catching pen that adds a unique touch to illustrations, sketches, and notes.

Features of the Lumos Splash
The pen body features a two-tone surface with a splash pattern and follows the same technical basis as all Lumos models. The modular system allows the use of eleven Japanese nibs for fineliner, brush, and writing.

Refill system and ink selection
The Splash is fully refillable and designed for dye-based fountain pen inks. It is suitable for all particle- and binder-free inks. Pigment inks such as Sailor Kiwa-guro or Platinum Carbon also work. Inks containing shimmer particles, shellac, or acrylic are not suitable. The reservoir is filled by simply immersing it in the ink. Color changes are achieved by flushing or by replacing the nib and reservoir.

Use and care
Depending on the type, the nibs are inserted from the top or inside. The included silicone grip makes changing them easier. Cleaning with warm soapy water keeps the pen and reservoirs functional. With the same ink, the reservoirs can be used almost indefinitely; with frequent color changes, they can be cleaned about four to five times.

Suitability for travel and everyday use
Since the pen contains no liquid, the Lumos Splash is perfectly suitable for air travel. The fast-drying ink ensures clean writing, even for left-handed users. Its robust construction makes it a reliable companion for everyday use and studio work.
