The Senator President Fountain Pen is an imposing fountain pen in XL format, comparable to the Montblanc Meisterstück 149. The barrel is made of deep black, glossy resin. A significantly wider , gold-colored decorative band at the bottom of the cap features raised model lettering ("SENATOR PRESIDENT").

The clip is classic, the fittings are gold-plated. The fountain pen has an ink window . Inside, a piston mechanism operates, the knob of which is located under the blind cap – unlike what is usual with Pelikan or Montblanc.
