With PIUMA Glicine, SCRIBO celebrates spring and the poetry of nature. Inspired by wisteria – a climbing plant that covers Bologna in spring with fragrant clusters of lilac blossoms – this edition represents friendship, gratitude, and the joy of shared inspiration.

Originally from China and Japan, the plant found its way to Europe in the 18th century and soon became a symbol of beauty and harmony. In the language of flowers, it is considered an emblem of true friendship – a sentiment that SCRIBO dedicates to this special edition.

The resin of the PIUMA Glicine displays a vibrant interplay of lilac and green hues, inspired by the blossoms and leaves of the wisteria. The subtly marbled surface gently catches the light, while platinum-plated metal accents accentuate the clean design.

The cap, barrel, grip section, and twist knob are handcrafted from resin. The oval shape with two facets fits comfortably in the hand. Length 144.5 mm, maximum diameter 15.6 mm. The ebonite feed with a capillary tube ensures a consistent flow. The pen is filled via a cartridge or converter system .

The centerpiece is the exclusive SCRIBO gold nib, available in 18 karat gold in the line widths Extra Extra Fine, Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad, as well as in a 14 karat flexible nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.

Each piece comes in an elegant leather and cotton box. The edition is limited to 90 pieces worldwide. PIUMA Glicine is an homage to friendship and lightness – a writing instrument that makes spring palpable in every line.
