The Pelikan Originals of Their Time – 1935 Blue Lapis fountain pen is a high-quality, limited-edition reissue featuring blue lapis celluloid for the barrel and cap. The material displays a fine marbling with subtle white markings, giving each pen its own unique and characteristic appearance. Small parts such as the clip and decorative frame are plated with 18K gold , while the nib is crafted from solid 18K gold .

The dimensions are dainty: length 11.7 cm closed, weight approx. 13.7 g, comparable to the historical Pelikan 100 / 101.

As a piston filler, it uses the classic Pelikan piston system, modernized with a synthetic seal for improved reliability. The pen holder is exceptionally well-made, and the nib glides smoothly across the paper.
