With the Raden M1000 Stardust "Hoshikuzu", Pelikan presents a writing instrument that exceptionally combines craftsmanship and cultural depth. Over 185 years of experience in producing high-quality fountain pens meet the centuries-old Japanese art of Maki-e and the fascinating Raden technique.

The design is a homage to the starry sky. Inspired by sparkling stardust on deep night blue, this motif was realized by the renowned artist Yamazaki Mushu and the Hoshu-kai collective from Yamanaka Onsen. Every detail bears the signature of traditional master craftsmanship.

Production begins with a layer of deep black Urushi lacquer, giving the fountain pen an intense, mysterious base. Finely crushed abalone shells are then meticulously arranged by hand into vertical stripes. The play of light creates shimmering color reflections in violet, blue, green, and silver, reminiscent of distant galaxies.

Several layers of clear lacquer enclose the surface, are elaborately polished, and give the fountain pen its characteristic, brilliant luster. 24-karat gold-plated elements such as the Pelikan clip and the decorative rings set elegant accents and emphasize the value of the writing instrument.

Each piece is unique, signed by the artist and provided with an individual edition number, applied using traditional Maki-e technique. It is presented in a high-quality paulownia wood box, further emphasizing the special character of this fountain pen.
