The Namiki Yukari Royale Urushi Black is a fountain pen that impresses with its clear design and exceptional depth. The surface consists of multiple layers of Urushi lacquer, executed in an intense black. This traditional lacquer technique is built up, sanded, and polished over many steps until a mirror-like, vibrant surface is created.

The pen is crafted by specialized Maki-e artisans in Japan. Each one is meticulously handcrafted over several months and embodies centuries of Japanese lacquer art tradition.
