Namiki Yukari Fuku roku ju 2019 Limited Edition Maki e Fountain Pen

The Namiki Yukari Fuku roku ju belongs to the Seven Gods of Good Fortune Collection created for Pilot's 100th anniversary. Fuku roku ju comes from Chinese Taoist tradition and is regarded as an incarnation of the South Pole star. Pilot explains his name through three Taoist virtues: Fuku represents many descendants, Roku health and Ju longevity. Today he is also revered as a god of personal virtue and esteem.

The motif executed by Masahiro shows Fuku roku ju with his characteristic high domed head, long beard and large earlobes. He holds a jewel in his right hand. A crane and a turtle bring him his important cane and scroll, creating a scene in which he expresses gratitude for their help.

The individually released edition appeared in 2019 and is limited to 150 fountain pens worldwide. It is distinct from the complete Seven Gods anniversary set, of which only 25 sets were made. The brass body is finished with Urushi lacquer and Togidashi Taka Maki e. The size 10 nib is made of 18 karat gold, carries the anniversary design and has a medium point. The original presentation includes an exclusive wooden box, a 50 ml bottle of limited Fuku roku ju ink, an Inden leather case, six black cartridges, documentation, artist card, polishing cloth and serial number plate.
