Montegrappa Michelangelo – 550th Anniversary Edition

To mark the 550th anniversary of Michelangelo's birth, Montegrappa presents a limited edition writing instrument from the Genio Creativo series – a tribute to one of the greatest artists in human history.

The body, made of Montegrappite marble, is reminiscent of Carrara marble in color and texture. The cap and stem are adorned with architectural details from the Sistine Chapel, rendered in fine sterling silver using the lost-wax casting process. The design's highlight is a hand-painted miniature of "The Creation of Adam" and a micro-cast portrait of Michelangelo's David beneath a stylized dome.

Each fountain pen is equipped with an 18-karat gold nib and piston filling system. The edition is limited to 88 pieces – a reference to Michelangelo's years of life.

Delivered in a custom-made display case with a matching inkwell.
