Mysterious like the moon

Houston, we have a new series: the new LUNAR SPORT is taking its first steps into the Kaweco standard range. Now the series sparkles again in two further magical nuances: While our Shadow Blue is reminiscent of mysterious galaxy nebulae in the depths of space, the Light Blue shines with its subtler and softer characteristics, like forget-me-nots in full bloom.

Both are imbued with a fascinating, iridescent color change, which lets the blue and purple hues dance on the surface of the pen, depending on the incidence of light. This way, the Lunar series offers exciting color contrasts from ever new perspectives. 

A play of light and shadow

With the two new color variants of the series, a literal play between light and shadow can be perceived. The dark base color of Shadow Blue makes the colors shine more intensely than the subtler Light Blue. Two opposites that reinforce each other. The fountain pen shines even more as a unique piece thanks to its interchangeable 060 nib. 

Thanks to the light ABS material, the pen lies weightlessly in the hand, making long writing easier. Despite its light weight, the Lunar fountain pen does not lose any of the usual robustness of the Sport series. 

Radiant companion

The Kaweco Lunar Sport fountain pen measures just 10.5 cm when closed, with a weight of just 11 g, and grows to a size of 12.7 cm with the cap screwed on. There are five different nib sizes to choose from, from Extra Fine (EF) to Extra Broad (BB). We recommend nib size M for beginners. All nibs are made in Germany.
