The barrel and cap are made of solid 18-carat yellow gold and adorned with a continuous row of pink sapphires, with a total weight of approximately 2.55 carats. The characteristic transparent Montblanc emblem with the floating diamond, which has been one of the most striking features of the Étoile collection since its introduction, forms the cap's finial.
The fountain pen is equipped with a handcrafted 18-carat gold nib.
