The Take it to the Limit Collection is the 36th edition of David Oscarson's limited-edition writing instruments and a tribute to sports cars, combustion engines, and the allure of the open road. Crafted from solid sterling silver, it combines automotive aesthetics with the highest level of guilloché and enamel artistry. Each color variation is limited to 100 pieces, including fountain pens in fine, medium, and broad nibs, and a rollerball pen.

The crown features a gearshift lever engraved in high relief, while the clip is designed as a slender piston, a clear reference to classic engine technology. The cap displays finely guillochéd instrument scales: speedometer, tachometer, oil level, engine temperature, and fuel gauge. A racing stripe runs along the stem over a guilloché pattern with a carbon-fiber look, opposite which sits an engraved number 1.

The handle bears the programmatic statement: "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." The combination of diamond-cut guilloche engraving and multiple layers of translucent and opaque hot enamel is built up through numerous firing and grinding cycles until the surface exhibits the typical depth and glassy luster of David Oscarson enamel.
