David Oscarson - Spirit of St. Louis Collection
The Spirit of St. Louis Collection is the 41st edition of David Oscarson's limited-edition writing instruments and a tribute to Charles Lindbergh (1902–1974) , whose legendary solo transatlantic flight in 1927 revolutionized aviation. Each variant is limited to 72 pieces —a reference to Lindbergh's lifespan—and combines technical precision with historical symbolism.
The cap features finely engraved instruments from the cockpit of the Spirit of St. Louis – compass, altimeter, and fuel gauge – as well as enameled flags of the nations honoring Lindbergh's journey. The shaft bears an engraved map of his flight route from New York to Paris, with Ryan NYP and NX-211 in high relief as a reference to the original aircraft.
The handle features the machine's characteristic engine fairing pattern and bears Lindbergh's signature.
Made from solid .925 sterling silver, this edition combines diamond-cut guilloché engraving with translucent and opaque hard enamel, which is fired, ground and polished by hand.
Available in five color variations , as a fountain pen (F, M, B) or rollerball .
A masterpiece in honor of the pioneer who conquered the skies and founded modern aviation.
