The Seaside Collection is the fifth edition in the series and comprises five color variations, each with 88 pieces. It translates the maritime theme into a four-stage guilloché engraving, a first for Oscarson. The design combines wave patterns with shells and sand dollars, which are set in relief on two levels. Finer details, such as the star-shaped structure of the sand dollars and the lines of the shells, are created in further engraving steps.

The translucent enamel colors are applied by hand in many layers, fired, and ground flat until they are flush with the relief structures. Four variations combine color with translucent white and are finished in rhodium vermeil; a fifth uses white on white with rose gold vermeil.

The filling system accepts cartridges, converters, or eyedroppers. The 18-karat gold nib with ebonite feeder is from Heidelberg.
