David Oscarson – 25th Anniversary Art Nouveau Collection
To mark its 25th anniversary, David Oscarson celebrates the art of writing and the elegance of Art Nouveau. The 25th Anniversary Art Nouveau Collection is a tribute to a quarter-century of masterful craftsmanship and the aesthetics of an era that uniquely combined art, design, and nature.
Each writing instrument in this limited edition is crafted from solid .925 sterling silver and finished with ten shades of translucent and opaque hard enamel over fifteen intricately guillochéd sections. Every single component is hand-engraved, kiln-fired multiple times, and precisely polished until the surface achieves its distinctive depth and brilliance.
The design draws inspiration from two iconic Art Nouveau works: the cap and clip reference René Lalique's famous Dragonfly Woman Brooch (1897–98), created for the actress Sarah Bernhardt and exhibited at the 1900 Paris Exposition. The barrel features a detailed reproduction of Alphonse Mucha's masterpiece La Plume (1899), an ode to the creative power of writing. The grip area is lined with opaque enamel, while cabochon onyx stones adorn the ends of the pen.
The 25th Anniversary Art Nouveau Collection is the 39th edition from David Oscarson. It is available in nine color variations – Alabaster, Eucalyptus, Aquamarine, French Blue, Slate Grey, Ruby Red, Translucent Onyx, Slate Turquoise and Amethyst – and is limited to 25 pieces worldwide, including fountain pens (F, M, B) and rollerball pens.
An anniversary piece that continues the tradition of handcrafted perfection and reinterprets the spirit of Art Nouveau in timeless elegance.
