The Wren Write Off is a fully refillable pen that gives disposable pens a new life. Billions of ballpoint pens are thrown away worldwide every year. This model was created with the aim of breaking this cycle and transforming discarded material into a long-lasting writing instrument.

Features of the Wren Write Off
The caps for the Wren Write Off pens are made from plastic collected from schools and organizations before they end up in the trash. This material is sorted, shredded, injection-molded, and finished by hand, making each cap unique. The pen body follows the design concept of all Tom's Studio models: it's robust, refillable, and designed for everyday use.

Refill system and ink selection
The Wren Write Off uses the same simple refill system as the Lumos models. It is suitable for dye-based, particle- and binder-free fountain pen inks. Pigment inks such as Sailor Kiwa-guro or Platinum Carbon also work. Shimmer inks and inks based on shellac or acrylic are not suitable. The reservoir is filled by immersion. Color changes are possible by flushing or by replacing the reservoir and nib.

Use and care
Regular cleaning with warm soapy water keeps the system functioning. Reservoirs last almost indefinitely with a consistent ink level, and for about four to five cleanings with frequent color changes.

Suitability for travel and everyday use
Since the pen body contains no liquid, the Wren Write Off is perfectly suitable for air travel. Its robust construction makes it ideal for school, office, and everyday use. The quick-drying inks ensure clean writing, even for left-handed users.
