The Lumos Stainless Steel is a precisely crafted special edition made of solid stainless steel. Features of the Lumos Stainless Steel
The pen body is made entirely of stainless steel and features a diagonally knurled cap for a secure grip. The casing is smooth and precisely finished, and the Triple Start Threads allow for quick and easy opening of the cap. Its added weight provides noticeable stability in the hand, a feature many writers appreciate.

Refill system and ink selection
Like all Lumos models, the Stainless Steel version is designed for dye-based inks and is compatible with all particle- and binder-free fountain pen inks. Pigment inks such as Sailor Kiwa-guro and Platinum Carbon can also be used. Inks containing shimmer particles or shellac/acrylic components are not suitable. Refilling is done by simply immersing the reservoir in the ink. Color changes are possible by flushing or by replacing the reservoir and nib.

Use and care
Depending on the type, the nibs are inserted from the top or inside. The silicone grip facilitates changing them without direct contact with the ink. Cleaning with warm soapy water keeps the reservoirs and pen parts free of ink residue. With the same ink, the reservoirs last almost indefinitely; with frequent color changes, they require about four to five cleanings.

Suitability for travel and everyday use
Since the pen body itself contains no liquid, the Lumos Stainless Steel is suitable for air travel. Its robust stainless steel construction makes it durable for everyday use.
