The iroshizuku ink collection consists of 27 different shades that reflect the Japanese landscape. It is known for its high-quality, fluid ink.
The ink owes its special name to a combination of two Japanese words: "Iro" means color and symbolizes the high standard and color variety of iroshizuku inks. Iroshizuku ink is water-based and therefore odorless. This aspect is emphasized by the second part of the name, "shizuku" meaning droplet in English. The name iroshizuku therefore figuratively represents drops of color.
