Sea Turtle Collection

The Sea Turtle folding knife continues the design of the writing instrument collection of the same name. It depicts three sea turtles in a detailed underwater landscape. Corals, currents, and schools of small fish appear in finely graduated reliefs that create depth and movement.

The scales are made of solid sterling silver and are fully guillochéd. The engravings create different levels, allowing shells, coral structures, and current patterns to stand out clearly. Each surface is then enameled in several stages. The enamel paste is mixed by hand, applied layer by layer with a nib, and fired at temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius. Afterward, the pieces are sanded and fired again until all the indentations are filled. The polished surface displays the characteristic luster of translucent enamel.

This technique demands great precision and years of experience. Each component undergoes multiple processing steps to cleanly bring out its structure and interplay of colors.

The blade is made of Swedish Damasteel DS93X Damascus steel. A diamond is set on both sides of the silver thumb stud.
