The art of damascus is a millennia-old craftsmanship of the highest standard. The new Special Edition Toledo M910 White celebrates this special craftsmanship. The biggest highlight of this edition is the decorative barrel. The detailed pelican motif on the barrel is refined in several complex work steps. The special pelican motif is refined by hand by a goldsmith. The surrounding body made of 925 sterling silver shows two pelican motifs: a small pelican standing in front of a pelican with spread wings and a pelican with an open beak. Both motifs are framed by ornaments. During the manufacturing process, the motif is etched onto the barrel and then the filigree details are engraved by hand. Finally, the surface of the body is coated with palladium. The fountain pen has a nib made of 18-carat/750 gold that is fully rhodium-plated.
